About greenbinoculars

Carolyn Holm is a communications professional with 20 years experience in fashion, graphic
& web design; content & product development; research, writing & translation.

She holds an Honors degree in English, with concentrations in French and Art History, from Princeton University, and is trained in a variety of technical design, content management and web production tools.

She has extensively researched the U.S. art and antiques markets on behalf of a prominent Parisian dealer, and as a collector in her own right. This knowledge of market trends, including the growing importance of international online commerce, makes her uniquely qualified to support both American and French dealers in their efforts to reach a much broader audience.

Art and antique dealers reply on Carolyn's knowledge of art history and criticism and French-English translation skills to create copy that targets a discerning and educated audience. Theirs is a traditional vocation that requires painstaking research and dedication to finding special objects for their customers. Carolyn's appreciation of their priorities, and ability to convey their message using contemporary technology, makes her a true partner in developing and promoting their brand through websites, online stores, social media and printed marketing materials.

Additionally, with a fashion background as a designer for Talbots and as editorial director, writer and trend reporter for The Doneger Group and JMK Style Trends, Carolyn brings a creative approach to marketing services for retail, manufacturing and consulting professionals in this field.

Carolyn is committed to helping clients in traditional and creative fields benefit from modern technology on their own terms. She lives and works in Paris, France, and travels frequently to New York and California.
